All About Christian Wall Art and Decorating the Home
66Do you believe the art on your walls makes a difference in your life?
Christian Wall Art focusing on particular scriptures can be an incredible way to impact yourself, family, friends, and aquaintances toward more Christ-like living. This can be done in so many ways.
They range from writing or carving the actual scriptures onto the wall to cheap plaques to fine art canvas paintings or photography, framed, signed, and numbered. Everyone wants something truly unique in their home, and now, there are so many options from which to choose.
When one sees these little reminders of scripture all over their home, it strengthens, encourages, and teaches as we go through our daily routines. The Bible instructs us in Deuteronomy 6:4-9, "...love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength....You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." IITimothy 3:16,17 says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."
When the scripture is "handy", right before us, staring us in the face (as you will), it also promotes many instances of meditation. If we pick scriptures that truly have strong meaning for us, there is no way that having them on our walls cannot make a difference in the way we live.

Inspiration and Wall Art: What's the connection?
Thomas Kinkade, Tom Fox, and the Bible? How do all of these things fit together with tasteful, elegant wall art? When speaking of wall art and inspiration, inspiration is a word that needs to be defined. Many things inspire people, but in the context of these writings, we are speaking of spiritual inspiration from the Bible. The Words of God speak peace, courage, truth, love, endurance, joy, patience, temperance, strength, mercy, protection, conviction, instruction, etc. The Words of God have been used since creation to inspire all of God's creation.
Now, what is the connection between wall art and the Bible. There are so many creative ways to place scripture around the home. I have seen it on lamps, paper weights, cookie jars, and clocks, but I really think that the most effective place to put the scripture is on the walls of your home. There is a certain respect and reference to putting it on the walls rather that having it woven into a rug. All is fine, and I don't think that any is meant to be sacrilege, but put my preference would be wall art.
The aspiration of beautiful, elegant decor is not thrown out the window because one chooses to put scripture on the walls. I really prefer quality when it comes to the things I place on my walls as well, but this too can be achieved. There are many large paintings and photographs on framed, fine art canvases from which one can choose. Thomas Kinkade is an incredible artist and one who has earned much acclaim in this field. Many times one finds engraved plaques on the frames which house his paintings. But there are many other choices as well, and it seems that they are multiplying daily.
In summary, wall art can be beautiful, , ... and inspirational!

Sometimes, when Easter is late, as this [...] - 3 years ago
